# Getting Started

> Choose a challenge, understand its terms, open the trading workspace, and place your first simulated perpetual-futures trade.

MyFundedPerps combines real market data with simulated accounts, orders,
fills, positions, and balances. Nothing in the trading workspace places an
order on an external exchange.

The platform is operated by Funding Perpetuals Holdings, Inc., d/b/a
MyFundedPerpetuals.

## 1. Open MyFundedPerps

Open [MyFundedPerps](https://myfundedperpetuals.com/). You can choose a challenge
before signing in. Your profile, challenge accounts, settings, purchase history,
and trading activity belong to the account you verify at checkout.

If the launch page appears, the countdown shows the time remaining until
opening. Keep the page open to enter automatically when launch begins. If launch is
paused or delayed, this page receives the updated schedule and access stays
closed. A countdown reaching zero does not override a launch pause. If you have
an early-access password, select **Enter Password**. To receive launch updates,
enter your email address and select **Notify Me**.

After entering the site, select **Open Menu** on a phone to find **Sign In**.
**Sign Up** and the language picker remain in the header.

## 2. Choose a challenge

Open the [challenge selector](https://myfundedperpetuals.com/#pricing) and compare
the available formats. Before checkout, review:

* account size and starting balance;
* evaluation step count and profit target for each step;
* maximum daily loss and maximum drawdown;
* drawdown type, such as static or trailing end-of-day;
* consistency, qualifying-day, and payout requirements;
* purchased profit split, price, discount, and total.

These values can differ by plan. The terms shown for the selected challenge are
the authoritative terms for that purchase.

Select **Start Challenge** to open checkout with your selected plan. If you are
signed out, enter your email and verify the six-digit code on the checkout
page. New and returning customers use the same email flow. If your account
requires a passkey, complete that verification too. Cloudflare may first ask
you to complete a browser security check.

On smaller screens, select **Order Summary** to expand the challenge details.
The selected challenge and base fee remain visible while the summary is collapsed.

New customers first enter their first and last name, residence country, and full
residential address. Confirm that your name is correct and matches your government
issued ID, then select **Continue** to choose your username in a separate step.
This step shows only your username, which identifies your public profile.
Use **Back** to review your address before finishing signup. Signup does not ask for your date of
birth; this is verified through Sumsub during identity verification. Customers with a completed profile skip this
step. Checkout retains your selected plan, discount or affiliate code, and
profit-split add-on through verification. Review the final total and billing
details before choosing a payment method.

## 3. Find the account on your dashboard

After a completed purchase or account grant, open the
[dashboard](https://myfundedperpetuals.com/dashboard). Use the account switcher
to choose the challenge account you want to inspect or trade.

The dashboard shows account stage, status, balance/equity, rule progress, and
the next step in the challenge. Read [Challenges and Rules](/guides/challenges-and-rules)
before taking risk.

## 4. Open the trading workspace

Go to [Trade](https://myfundedperpetuals.com/trade) and choose a market. Before
submitting an order, check:

1. the active challenge account;
2. market and direction;
3. order type and price conditions;
4. size unit, quantity, margin mode, and leverage;
5. attached Take Profit or Stop Loss instructions;
6. the order summary and estimated impact.

<Warning>
  A platform safeguard can reject an order, but it does not replace your own
  risk plan. A challenge can still fail when account rules are breached.
</Warning>

## 5. Monitor and manage the position

Use the position and order panels to review open exposure, resting orders,
realized results, and account equity. Closing or reducing a position is also an
order and remains subject to current market conditions and platform rules.

Continue with the [Trading Guide](/guides/trading-guide), or configure your
[Trading settings](/settings/trading) before placing more orders.

To follow the account from evaluation through funding and payouts, read the
[Challenge Lifecycle](/guides/challenge-lifecycle).
